First step on the career ladder in the luxury sector.

The INSEEC U. Bachelor’s degree trains young people who have the ambition of becoming operational managers after a one-year higher education program.

Following two years on a general higher education business school program, at INSEEC U. or other schools or universities, students choose this specialization for their third year in the framework of a school-company cooperative study program.

The Bachelor’s degree offers a cooperative study program, the specialization “Luxury Retailing” aims to train sales professionals to work in brand stores and department stores offering luxury products.

Becoming a good professional in the luxury sector requires a range of sales, managerial and multi-cultural skills to meet the expectations of a particularly demanding international clientele.

Our students are given thorough training enabling them to master sales action, merchandising techniques, the concept of customer service and digitalization in the luxury sector.

In view of the demanding requirements of positions in the luxury sector, we select our candidates very carefully, and train them in excellent conditions: small classes, personalized coaching, experienced training providers; we decided to offer cooperative study programs through professional training contracts or cooperative study programs to enable our students to apply their theoretical learning as quickly as possible.

The course is divided into 6 major modules with sales action as the fundamental core

  • The specific aspects of selling in the luxury sector: conquest, building loyalty, up-selling, customer relationship management

  • Retail Management in operation: logistics & procurement, merchandising

  • Luxury Culture and brand strategies: Luxury companies’ strategies, the history and culture of luxury brands

  • Cross cultural management, adapting to a worldwide clientele: cross cultural aspects and consumer behavior in relation to luxury brands; public speaking, interviews and simulations of selling in English

  • Digital marketing, omni-channel et omni-experiential: CRM and clienteling, digital marketing strategies and tools for the luxury sector

  • Managing the human dimension in the luxury sector: CSR in the luxury sector, e-movie learning, Behavioral coaching, personal development, interpersonal communication.
